An unprecedented event for the Principality of Monaco and the French Riviera, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and His fiancée Charlene Wittstock, on the occasion of their wedding, hosted a large open-air concert by Jean Michel Jarre on the 1st of July 2011.
High-tech, glamorous and open-to-all, Jean Michel Jarre‘s concert was held in the centre of Monaco’s Hercules Port. The gigantic audience gathered around the port, on the heights of the Principality t see the futuristic production created by the French musician includes a 200m-stage set in the heart of Monaco.

The city-in-concert, free show was beamed across the Principality on giant screens and broadcast internationally by satellite and Internet.

Jean Michel Jarres concert-event on July 1st, made world news. Beyond the Euronews host-broadcaster network (153 countries), and their affiliates worldwide, the concert-event generated a huge following throughout Europe, India, China, South America and the USA.
A massive audience also shared the concert on Internet, via Ustream.tv along with a multitude of relay-platforms who uploaded the Ustream player.
During the three hours event, Jarres concert in Monaco was classified #6 on Twitter Trends.

Adding the Youtube postings and the international TV news access, an estimated 3 billion audience worldwide, shared partially or fully, Jean Michel Jarres Royal Wedding Concert last July 1st, live from Monaco.
